This policy covers the game Turn & Fade at turnfade.games.rapidrabbit.de. For your account (signing in, password, deletion) the privacy policy of the game hub games.rapidrabbit.de applies.

In short

Your saves stay in your browser. Our server only knows which account your browser is linked to. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, nothing loaded from other servers – and so no cookie banner: everything here is strictly necessary (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

In your browser

• Cookie kb – set by the hub games.rapidrabbit.de, shows which account you are signed in with; the game uses it to ask the hub for the account name and creation time. Account, password and deletion: see the hub's privacy policy.
• Cookie turnfade – a random value linking your browser to your account while you are signed in (30 days). After you sign out the browser gets a new random value (24 hours), so the next person on the device does not play on with your account. Our server only stores a checksum (hash) of it.
• Cookie turnfade_lang – your language, only if you pick one in the page footer (1 year).
• Saves (a database in the browser's private storage, the “Origin Private File System”): your golfers, discs, rounds, career, tournaments, records and statistics. Each account has a save of its own, all guests of this browser share one. They are never sent to us and stay until you delete the site data of turnfade.games.rapidrabbit.de in your browser. If your account is deleted, your browser can no longer reach that save; you remove it the same way, through the site data.
• localStorage: discgolfer-settings… (settings such as sound, tips, game speed), turnfade-log (a log of what happened in the game, at most about 100,000 characters, for troubleshooting) and up to five crash reports turnfade-crash-…. They stay on your device too; the log only leaves it if you copy it in the settings and pass it on yourself.

On the server, in memory only

• For 15 seconds, the hub's answer about who is signed in (hash of kb, account key, display name, creation time), so not every page view has to ask.

On the server, permanently

• For each linked browser: the hash of the turnfade cookie and your account name. Signing out deletes the link.
• For each account that played here: account name, display name and the account's creation time (so an account created later under the same name does not get old data).
• If your account is deleted on the hub, we delete all of this within a minute.
• You can download what is stored about you at any time: My data.

Server logs

There are no access logs and we store no IP addresses (the proxy in front is set up that way too). The server's error messages contain no personal data.

Legal basis

Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR – so you can use the game and play with your account. Storing and reading in the browser is strictly necessary for that (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). There are no public leaderboards.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21).
